Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance safety practices across our construction and industrial operations. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a proactive safety culture, and protecting the well-being of all employees on site.

Skills & Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs across construction and industrial sites.
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Deliver engaging and informative safety training sessions to site employees.
Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, training logs, and safety meeting minutes.
Stay current with evolving safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
Advise management on safety compliance issues and recommend proactive measures.
Organize and lead safety meetings, emergency drills, and toolbox talks.
Manage inventory and distribution of safety equipment and PPE.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

1 year of experience in construction or industrial safety.
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
Certification in First Aid/CPR and OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety.
Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field (highly valued).

Work Environment & Conditions:

This role involves regular site visits and may require working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Occasional travel between project sites is expected.
Must be able to wear PPE and navigate active construction zones.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
