Journeyman Electrician

Location: Arizona


The Journeyman Electrician position responsibilities entail:
MUST HAVE PROFICIENCY IN THE FOLLOWING: -EMT, Rigid, PVC and PVC-coated, Aluminum and Stainless Steel Pipe

  • Installing switchgear, motor controls, electrical panels, lighting and power supplies.
  • Wire pulling (all sizes) and power terminations
  • Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
  • Current NEC codes
  • Experience operating Backhoe and/or Excavator is a plus but not required


  1. Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year (heat, cold, rain, snow).
  2. Job requires employees to have personal tools with them at all times.
  3. Work from all types of ladders (step ladders up to 14′, “A” frame ladders and all sizes of extension ladders, and carry and relocate up to 12′ step ladder by one’s self).
  4. Perform work at various heights from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks or other areas as required.
  5. Work in restricted areas (switchgear room, manholes, etc.)
  6. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, at all times).
  7. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
  8. Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week and overtime as required.
  9. Must be available to work out of town as required.

  •  Have current OK Unlimited Electrical Journeyman’s license
  • 3+ years experience, industrial experience preferred
  • Pass 7-year background check (NO felonies, multiple DUI/DWI, theft or controlled substance violations)
  • Valid OK DL with reliable transportation
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening
